About our Trainer
Hello everyone, my name is Casandra and I am the head trainer here at Aidas Haven. What started as a fun passion for me when I was 13 years old, became my profession. I started Aidas Haven at the end of 2019 when I finally saved up enough to quit my night job and had the ability to train full time. Professionally, I have been training people to create better bonds with their dogs since 2016. It had all started for me when I would go over to friends of families home who owned Labradors and German Shorthair Pointers. I was able to obtain hands on knowledge on how to train hunting dogs on retrieving water fowl to the GSPs flushing pheasant from the fields. From there, it had become everything I did in my spare time. I would help dogs become better companions for their owners and immensely enjoyed the bonds I helped them create. I have worked everything from toy breeds all the way to High drive working breeds with a big emphasis on dogs who needed jobs to maintain a happy and healthy mindset. I currently own Dobermans and Xolos. I am active in the sport dog world and I have heavy emphasis on training dogs to the level of competition Obedience. My Performance dog has titles in Barnhunt, FastCat, Agility and more! I have a obedience prospect I am training now to go out into the Competition OB and Rally world.
I have the capabilities to help people from starting their puppies, all the way to Human Aggression cases. I work the dog in front of me. I also aide owners in better understanding their companion and help them realize that no matter what you do or do not do, your dog is learning from you. My approach to training is simple. I work on the dog in front of me and create a solid bond. Tools are not always going to be needed, but if they are. I help owner as well as dog, understand that it is a tool to aide in the betterment of the dog. What may work for one dog, may not work for another and that is okay! All my training is customized with the dog in mind with the same goal that everyone should have- A dog that is Happy, Confident, and Healthy. I have a deep knowledge for animal behavior and I cater all of my lesson plans for the dog to be their best self.
I am also certified as a AKC CGC evaluator, and I am always continuing my education either by attending seminars or online classes. I hope I get the chance to help you and your dog have a long lasting and healthy bond!

Our Philosophy
We believe that dog training is not a hat that you put on when you want to. Dog training is a way of life. Our goal is to help you as the owner better understand your dog and communicate effectively in a way that is the least stressful. We are training you just as much as we are the dog to create a well behaved companion in your household. Whether you are active and doing sports, or you just want to have a dog that stays by your side at home. We work it all. We teach you how to utilize tools if your dog is in need of them, we teach you and your dog how to navigate life together and nurture the bond. We really do create bonds and balance that last. When you own a dog, it becomes the way of life for the both of you. We are here to help you pave the way to success!
